Christ Lutheran School is place filled with God-given joy! We rejoice in the forgiveness of sins and the knowledge of eternal life in heaven. Our Lord Jesus Christ won all this for us through his death and resurrection.

Christ Lutheran School exists as an integral part of the mission of Christ Lutheran Church, Zumbrota. We provide a strong and loving Christian environment blended with a full-scale academic curriculum, as well as several athletic opportunities for students. Since 1977, Christ Lutheran School continues to offer Bible-based, Christ-centered education from kindergarten through eighth grade. Schedule a time to tour school and ask questions about our program - come, discover the difference!

What We Offer

At Christ Lutheran School (CLS), families can expect a rigorous curriculum with Christ integrated into every facet of their child’s education. Our small class sizes allow for individualized instruction, deeper learning, and meaningful one-on-one time with teachers.

Beyond the classroom, students benefit from enriching extracurricular activities and thoughtfully planned field trips throughout the year that bring learning to life. For kindergarten families, we offer four- or five-day attendance options.

A typical day at CLS begins with time in Scripture and focused academic instruction. Students enjoy daily recess outdoors on our playground, soccer and softball fields, or basketball court, and when weather does not permit, they make full use of our gym for indoor play. Students gather for lunch in our fellowship hall, with the option to participate in our hot lunch program.

Transportation is available through Palmer Busing, the same provider contracted by the Zumbrota-Mazeppa public school district, serving families within district limits.

At CLS, your child receives a strong academic and spiritual foundation rooted in God’s word. We also believe that parents are essential partners in this journey. We are committed to walking alongside you – equipping, encouraging, and supporting you through a caring Christian community as your child grows in faith and knowledge.
