School Counselor

I’m Jessi Robbert and I serve as Christ Lutheran and Kids for Christ’s School Counselor. My favorite part of being the School Counselor is that I am free to share Jesus with everyone; children, families, and staff alike! The love of Jesus comforts the hearts of the hurting, it gives purpose to the questioning child, and it provides guidelines for teachers and parents wishing to lead their children in God’s way, what an awesome God we have and serve! My husband, Robb (pastor at St. John’s Goodhue) and I have been married for 31 years and we have five children (ages 20 - 30) and seven grandchildren (ages 6 months to 6 years). We love living in Minnesota and are blessed to be in a peaceful welcoming place that is close to our children and grandchildren.

My favorite hobbies are reading (Do you have a favorite author to recommend?), crocheting (I’m a novice but I do enjoy trying lol), watching movies (Did you see the new Jurassic Park?? I love dinosaurs as much as the kids do lol) and playing with our animals (4 dogs - Meg, Duchess, Gigi, & Fifi and 2 cats - Mr. Bubbles & Princess).

In this world of so many changes and uncertainties my favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 3:5 “ Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
